I've just installed Windows 10 Pro on a 2016 MacBook with the Force Touch trackpad. Trackpad settings in the Boot Camp control panel are for tap-to-click. Nevertheless, I find that I have to actually depress the trackpad (not just tap it) to get a click.
Get icy tower for mac. * Custom characters - play as anyone! Harold the Homeboy and his friends have decided to climb a huge tower they found the other day. * Custom game modes - experiment! It's up to you to help them get as high as possible without falling down, and collect extra points by doing cool moves on the way. Features: * Addictive gameplay - you'll come back for more!
Note that I'm not sure whether the new trackpad actually deflects or it's just a haptic doodad that generates the feel of a click, whatever, I have to press the trackpad much harder to get it to work than I do on e.g. My MacBook Pro (late 2013) running Boot Camp. AFIK I used the latest version of Boot Camp to do the install. Thanks for trying but I'm not sure you understood my issue: The Trackpad works absolutely fine on the Mac side; it's on the Boot Camp side that it isn't working (I.e. Working the same as on the Mac side). I set the Boot Camp trackpad settings to 'tap to click' but that is NOT what is happening -- IMO it's still 'click to click' I.e. I have to depress the trackpad until a 'click' is discerned to get the expected behavior.
I'm wondering whether the Boot Camp driver is up-to-date for the NEW Force Trackpad? Note that the Force trackpad works perfectly well when running Windows 10 using Fusion (in emulation, with Fusion driver).
It's only the Boot Camp driver that seems not to be working correctly. Just found an article in Apple Support here: saying that Force Trackpad 'isn't designed to work in Windows'. I guess that's Apple saying 'it's Windows so supporting Boot Camp is optional'.
Indeed, I see to recall that that ('we don't support it') has pretty much been the Company line toward Boot Camp from inception. OTOH, 'tap-to-click' isn't something that's unique to the new Force Trackpad -- it works just fine in Boot Camp using the old-style Trackpads. I suppose Apple will, in the fullness of time, write a new driver for Boot Camp -- they can't very well switch all of their Mac hardware to Force Touch and leave the old Boot Camp driver (or can they?!).
